Thoughts from Mike Azzara

Kathy and I were very saddended to read about Ginny's passing. We have such strong and positive memories of her through our Valley connection and also by getting to know Barbara who babysat for our two daughters. Ginny was a superb nurse leader at Valley and I never worried about the hospital when she was in charge on the evening shift. She was smart, fearless, respected by all, and was always positive in facing any challenge or problem. She was a wonderful role model for generations who followed her at Valley. I became friendly with Ginny and Bill and am sorry that I failed to stay in touch during the last few years. She inspired me not just because of her work at Valley but as someone who deeply cared about others and their lives. Our sympathies and prayers go out to the entire Cordes family. We are grateful that Ginny was a part of our lives and her spirit will remain with us. Mike Azzara
