Ed was born in Passaic and grew up in Rutherford. Ed moved to Glen Rock with his wife Rose Marie in 1975. He was awarded his degree in Education from The University of Maine. Before retiring in 2003, after thirty- four years of service, Ed was a much beloved school teacher at the Middle School in Wood-Ridge, NJ. He was awarded the Teacher of The Year. He was a loyal and valued member of The Glen Rock Athletic Club for many years. Survivors include his beloved wife Rose Marie (nee Caputo) Loccke of Glen Rock, and his loving brother Richard D. Loccke of Rutherford. Also surviving are his dear niece Christina M. Johnson and her husband Thomas of Montclair and dear nephew Richard E. Loccke and his wife Susan of Ridgewood. There are four grand nieces & 1 grand nephew survivingEd also leaves behind his beloved pet & buddy "Sandy". Ed will be missed by his many loving friends. Graveside services will be held on Friday at 11:00 AM at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus.
