Chaipis, John L., 85, of Wyckoff, NJ formerly of Allendale died February2, 2010. Beloved husband of Elaine (nee Reinhardt) of Wyckoff. Loving father of Wendy Sowa-Maldarelli of Teaneck, NJ and step-son Scott Riegel of Northwood, NH and grandfather of William Maldarelli. John was chief engineer of Grado Labs in Brooklyn, NY since the early 50's. John was an Army veteran of World War II and an avid golfer. A funeral service will be held Friday, February 5th at 2:30 PM at the Heritage Manor Chapel, Mountain Avenue, off Sicomac Avenue in Wyckoff.
