Born in Saddle River, NJ she was a volunteer for Meals on Wheels, had been a Cub Scout Den Mother, and was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church in Saddle River where she was a past Sunday School Teacher and a volunteer in the Braille program. She is survived by her loving sons John and Thomas, and her beloved grandchildren James, William, Sarah and Sarina. She was predeceased by her husband John. Friends and family may call on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the C.C. Van Emburgh Funeral Home 306 E. Ridgewood Ave. Ridgewood. A funeral service will take place on Thursday February 25th at 11:00 AM at the Zion Lutheran Church in Saddle River, NJ. Interment will follow at the Zion Lutheran Church Cemetery.
