Predeceased by his wife Emily, son Thomas Jr. & sister Mary Jane Jehlen. He is survived by his sister Irene Gallik & aunt Katherine Weil of Whiting, NJ. Survivors also include his son John & wife Deborah of Florida and his daughter Gail Fox & husband William of Butler. Dear grandfather to Colleen & William Fox, Jr. Allison D'Alessandro & husband Glen of Saddle Brook. Great grandfather of Chelsea & Gianna, nephews & many friends. He was loved by everyone. Thomas was a World War II veteran serving in the US Navy from 1942-1945 aboard the Destroyer U.S.S Roche DE- 197. He was formerly employed at Fair Lawn Hospital until 1972. He retired from Benjamin Moore & Co. in 1989. He is also survived by his companion of 38 years Barbara Albanese of Warwick, NY. In lieu of flowers donations in his memory to American Lung Association, 1031 Route 22 West, Suite 203, Bridgewater, NJ 08807. Private services were requested by the family ,cremation to follow.
