She was born in New Albany, Indiana. She served on WWll home front in Ft. Knox, Kentucky, Signal Office. She was married to Daniel J. Meixell (deceased 1980) of North Bergen, NJ. Margaret had lived in Westwood, Ridgewood, and Lakehurst, NJ for 33 years. She retired from PSE&G as Senior Operator, then headed Navy Lakehurst Engineering Center Telephone Depot. She retired to Green Valley, AZ. and worked for U.S. Dept. of Commerce in Tucson until 2001. Survivors include Elizabeth of New York City, Judith Bamper of Bethlehem, PA, Stephanie Wodyka of Bethlehem, Daniel of Phoenix, Timothy of Waimanalo, Hawaii, David of Glastonbury, CT and Kevin of Wadsworth, Illinois. There are nine grandchildren surviving. Funeral Mass Monday at 10:45 AM at Mt. Carmel RC Church, Ridgewood. Interment to follow at Holy Name Cemetery, Jersey City, NJ.
