Born in Hackensack he resided in Cumming, Georgia for four years. Prior he lived in Stamford, CT and was raised in Allendale, NJ. He was a graduate of Northern Highlands High School. He attended Lynchburg College in Virginia. He was employed by TAM Communications the publisher of American Iron and also DuPont Registry. Survivors include his parents, Robert & Marilyn Jaten of Allendale, a brother Edward Jaten of Franklin Lakes and a sister Melissa A. Jaten of North Bend, Washington. A funeral service will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10:00 AM at CC Van Emburgh Funeral Home, Ridgewood. Interment will follow at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus.
