McManus, Nina V. (Zeppel), 88, of Ho-Ho-Kus (formerly of Demarest) died May 22, 2010. Beloved wife of 67 years to William J. McManus. Devoted mother of Brent and wife Kathy of Central Valley, NY; Carole Saunders and husband Bill of Lewisville, TX and Craig McManus and his partner Willy Kare of Ho-Ho-Kus, NJ. Beloved grandmother of Danika Herrick, Courtney Weygant, Kiersten Brien; Will, Scott and Lauren Saunders and five great-grandchildren. Loving sister of John (Bill) Zeppel and his wife Betty Mae and their children Karen and Karl. Nina was born in Long Island City and grew up in Bergenfield. She and her husband settled in Demarest where they resided for 55 years. Before retiring, Nina was a secretary for Everlon Fabrics in Closter. Nina was a great mother and life teacher, always there, willing to be a support network for anyone in need. She was a great lover of animals and cherished the company of her beloved dogs Benny, Jackie and cat Harry. Visitation will be Friday, May 28th from 2-4 & 7-9 at the C.C. Van Emburgh Funeral Home, Ridgewood with a service at 8:30 PM. Burial will be private.
