Beloved husband of Martine (nee Van de Wiele) of Ridgewood. Loving father of Pamela Traynor, Ginny Malley and Kimberly Schmidt and step-father of Cedric Tuck-Sherman and Natalie Delaney. Dear grandfather of Dylan, Emma, Christopher, Erin, Tanner, Owen, Alexander, Jake, Samantha and Paige. Dear brother of David Scott of New Hampshire. Upon retirement Dick dedicated his time to the Orpheus Men's Chorus, The Red Cross, Valley Hospital, Caring Clowns and the Hobbyist. He was a member of the Upper Ridgewood Tennis Club and spent part of the year in Naples, FL. Visitation will be Thursday, August 5th from 2-4 & 6-8 PM with a service at 7:30 PM at the C.C. Van Emburgh Funeral Home, Ridgewood. In lieu of flowers the family welcomes donations in Dick's memory to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105
