Van Emburgh Funeral Home, Ridgewood, NJ Light a candle by adding your thoughts and memories		David Fredrick McIntosh passed away peacefully on December 1, 2011 at Valley Hospital, Ridgewood ,NJ after a long illness. David was 62 years old and a long term resident of Ridgewood NJ. Dave was born March 16 1949 in St Joseph's Hospital, Paterson NJ and was the son of John B & Millicent McIntosh (deceased) lifelong residents of Glen Rock, NJ. He is survived by his loving wife of thirty seven years Wendy ( Hemkes) Mc Intosh and two children his loving son David F Mc Intosh II ( married to Susan) and his loving daughter Tracy Anne McIntosh. He is also survived by his siblings Tony McIntosh (husband of Dolores), James McIntosh ( husband of Luisa), and Millicent Jane Sullivan (wife of Daniel) In addition he is survived by many of Wendy's ten brothers and sisters and nephews and nieces. He was a graduate of Glen Rock High School Class of 1967 and an Army Veteran having served during the Vietnam War. He was a member of American Legion Post 145 in Glen Rock. Dave was a well know individual in Glen Rock having been employed by Beekman Wine & Liquors in Glen Rock for over forty years, retiring as Store Manager in 2009. He was a Parishioner at All Saints Episcopal Church, Glen Rock NJ. Memorial visiting will be held on Monday from 5-8 PM , with a Memorial Service at 8:00 PM at CC Van Emburgh, 306 E.
