He was a World War II Marine Corps veteran serving in the Pacific Campaign from 1942-1945. Prior to his retirement in 1978 he was a Property Claims Manager with Commercial Union Companies of New York, New York. He was predeceased by his beloved wife Hazel Andresen. Survivors include his two loving sons, Arthur Roerink and wife Joyce of Crownsville, MD and William Roerink of Wexford, PA. There are two adoring grandsons surviving, Kyle & Collin Roerink.
