Winder, Eleanor, nee Tenney, 87, of Waldwick NJ died December 31, 2011. Beloved mother of David Winder of Waldwick, NJ; Gail Ortenburger of Cambria, CA; John Winder and his wife Ellen of Mahwah, NJ; and Susan Schlosser of Haskell, NJ. Loving grandmother of 14 and great-grandmother of 10. Dear sister of Alan, Harry, and Carl Tenney. She was predeceased by her husband Theodore in 1988. Eleanor was a member of Jehovah's Witnesses of Wyckoff.
A funeral service will be held Friday, January 6th at 10am at the C.C. VanEmburgh Funeral Home in Ridgewood. Visitation will be Thursday from 2-4pm & 7-9pm. Interment will be at George Washington Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Valley Hospice, 15 Essex Street, Paramus NJ 07652.
