May Kapakjian June 14, 1915 - January 21, 2012
 
 
Predeceased by her parents, Bertha and James Kapakjian, sister Alice and brother Jim she is survived by her sister Agnes Voskian of Midland Park, NJ. May was rich in family survived by 8 nieces and nephews, 15 great and 9 great great nieces and nephews and her many dear friends at Hillcrest - Christian Health Care Center where she was an active resident for twelve very happy years.
 
During World War II May worked in a defense plant manufacturing airplane parts for the war effort. She was a professional hairdresser, retiring at age 72 from a very successful 40 year career in Manhattan, and whenever possible enjoyed travel.
 
She will be greatly missed by her loving family and friends. Arrangements entrusted to the C. C. Van Emburgh Funeral Home, Ridgewood.
